VIDEO: How to Sand Cabinet Face Frames Like a Pro

Back in 1987, I worked in a cabinet shop called Whipple Tree Kitchens. It was a small place with 5 or 6 of us making solid wood kitchen cabinets for people who wanted more than just the usual melamine boxes. A big part of the “woodwork” we did involved making face frames around cabinet openings where doors and drawers would sit. The trick with these faces frames was sanding the wood smooth – a challenge because of the way wood grain meets at 90º.
