Nifty Nordic News
Back in March I was at CanNord – a conference put on by the five Nordic countries – and it left me thinking. Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland sent technical and diplomatic delegates to Toronto to meet with Canadian housing leaders to exchange ideas about building greener cities. As it turns out we’re way behind the Nordic nations in dealing with issues like greenhouse gas emissions and inner city transportation issues, but the thing that most impressed me is how pleasant some of the Nordic cities must be to live in. Reykjavik, Iceland is a case in point. Check out this video to get a glimpse of what I mean.
